The CHINAR PRIMARY SCHOOL is the Junior wing administrated under the chairmanship of the Principal, Sainik School Nagrota. As a day school, it primarily caters to the children of the employees and also take in children from the adjoining areas.

The spic and span campus houses richly furnished Classrooms, Activity Room, Computer Lab and offers excellent learning environment. A variety of activities and functions are organized throughout the academic session to imbibe values and develop life skills amongst the children. The school also offers excellent games and sports facilities in spacious, lush green playfields. Transport facility is provided to local children on nominal charges.
