Admission to Sainik School Nagrota is done through the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) conducted every year in January by the National Testing Agency (NTA).Through this examination, admission is done in classes VI and IX of all Sainik Schools across the country.

The age of the child should be between 10 to 12 years for admission in class VI of Sainik School Nagrota, while for admission in class IX the age limit should be between 13 to 15 years. Admission is done on the basis of students' performance in the entrance examination and medical fitness.

Online registration for Admission in Academic Session 2023-24 for Class 6 & 9 has started. Interested parents who wish to enroll their children in Sainik School Nagrota, can visit the official website https://aissee.nta.nic.in and fill the Online Admission Form 2023- 24.

The last date of filling the online form is 30 Nov 2022 till 5.00 PM. Attractive scholarships are also given to the eligible students.
