Nagrota, 31st July 2024: Our school had the honour of hosting the inspirational young cyclist, Arav Bhardwaj, who is currently undertaking a remarkable cycling expedition from Kargil to Delhi. This journey is a heartfelt tribute to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Operation Vijay, celebrating the valiant victory of the Indian Armed Forces.

Principal Capt (IN) Shibu Devasia expressed profound appreciation for Arav's daring adventure. "This extraordinary feat by young Arav reflects his patriotic spirit and deep respect for the supreme sacrifices made by the Armed Forces of India," he remarked.

As Arav arrived at the school, he was warmly welcomed by the cadet members of the school Cycling Club, who lined up at the main gate to receive him. Following a refreshing interaction over tea, Principal Capt (IN) Shibu Devasia presented Arav with a school souvenir as a token of our appreciation and support for his journey.

Sainik School Nagrota extends heartfelt wishes to Arav for a safe and successful completion of his expedition. His journey not only honours the memory of Operation Vijay but also inspires us all to recognize and celebrate the bravery and dedication of our Armed Forces.
