Sainik School Nagrota Celebrates Annual Nagrotian Diwali Mela with Great Enthusiasm.

The festive spirit of Diwali came alive at Sainik School Nagrota during the Annual Nagrotian Diwali Mela, celebrated with great zeal and joy in the school premises. The event was inaugurated by Capt (IN) Shibu Devasia, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The campus buzzed with excitement as cadets of Sainik School Nagrota and the tiny tots of Chinar Primary School participated enthusiastically in the celebrations. The children were thrilled by a variety of fun-filled activities, including camel rides, horse rides, toy train rides, trampoline jumps, and the Ferris wheel, which added a fairground charm to the day.
A number of food stalls, set up by vendors, offered a range of delicious snacks and festive treats, delighting everyone present. The evening came alive with a vibrant performance by the school band, The Decibels, which captivated the audience with their musical talent and energy. One of the main highlights of the event was the Raffle Draw, which kept the audience eagerly engaged with every announcement and added to the festive excitement.
The celebration culminated with a spectacular fireworks display, lighting up the Nagrota sky and filling the atmosphere with colours and joy. The event concluded on a happy note, as cadets, staff, parents, and guests departed with smiles and festive cheer, carrying with them beautiful memories of the day.
