Sainik School Nagrota, Jammu organised a plantation drive under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ (एक पेड़ माँ के नाम) initiative on 20 September 2026, reaffirming its commitment to environmental conservation, sustainability and the creation of a greener campus.

🌿The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from cadets, teachers, administrative staff, NEXAS and their families, Oxygen Footprints, Rotary Club Jammu Stars, Green City Nursery and prominent citizens.🌿

🌳 More than 500 saplings of fruit-bearing, flowering and avenue species were planted during the drive, adding a meaningful green footprint to the School campus.🌳

The initiative not only promotes environmental responsibility but also inspires our cadets to become responsible citizens and ambassadors of a sustainable future.
