🌿 Gandhi Jayanti | Special Cleanliness Campaign at Sainik School Nagrota 🇮🇳

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, a special Cleanliness Campaign was organised at Sainik School Nagrota, with the active participation of the Officers, Staff and Cadets.

The Cadets and Staff undertook Shramdaan and cleared garbage and waste from various areas inside and outside the school campus. They also carried out a cleanliness drive along the roadside stretch from Sainik School Nagrota to Khelgaon Athletic Arena, contributing to a cleaner and more hygienic environment.

Addressing the Cadets, Capt (IN) Shibu Devasia, Principal, Sainik School Nagrota, highlighted the significant role played by Mahatma Gandhi in India’s freedom struggle and urged the Cadets to imbibe and practise his ideals, particularly nationalism, cleanliness and the spirit of the Swadeshi Movement. He emphasised that true respect for the nation is reflected not only in words but also through responsible actions and service to society.

The initiative reinforced the values of cleanliness, discipline, civic responsibility, nationalism and community service among the Cadets, in keeping with the spirit of Gandhi Jayanti. 🇮🇳🌱
