Nagrota, 31st July 2024: In a significant move to bolster educational technology, J&K Bank has donated Interactive Flat Panel Displays (IFPDs) to 11 classrooms at Sainik School Nagrota under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The new IFPDs were officially launched by the General Manager of the J&K Bank, Mr.Sunit Kumar, who is himself an alumnus of Sainik School Nagrota, in a ceremony held today. He stated that J&K Bank, a premier financial institution is committed to fostering economic and social development in the region through its various banking and CSR activities. It takes pride in promoting Sainik School Nagrota which is dedicated to preparing students for leadership roles in the armed forces and other sectors, emphasizing academic excellence, physical fitness, and character development.

The introduction of these advanced touch screen boards marks a major enhancement in the teaching and learning process at the school. The IFPDs will enable the incorporation of cutting-edge technology into the classroom, which is increasingly recognized as essential in modern education. To demonstrate the capabilities of these innovative devices, a series of demo classes were conducted, showcasing the versatility of the IFPDs in displaying various types of learning content. These included videos, graphs, multiple document formats, presentations, and audio-visual materials, highlighting the potential of these tools to transform educational delivery and engagement.

Captain (IN) Shibu Devasia, Principal of Sainik School Nagrota, expressed his profound gratitude and appreciation to J&K Bank for their generous contribution. He stated, "The provisioning of IFPDs aligns with our mission to provide high-quality education and prepares our students for the future.
