NSAINIK SCHOOL NAGROTA CADETS WIN FIRST PRIZE IN JUNIOR MASTER CHEF COMPETITION
Jammu, 08 Nov 2024: In a remarkable display of culinary talent, Cadet Stanzin Angmo and Cadet Tanishq Raina of Class VIII from Sainik School Nagrota emerged victorious in the Junior Master Chef Competition organized by the Food Craft Institute, Jammu on 8 th November 2024. The duo participated in the Junior Non-Fire category, impressing thejudges with their skill and creativity in preparing nine dishes, securing the first prize for their innovative Korean Cucumber Salad.The competition, which saw the participation of 27 schools from across the Jammu region, provided a platform for young culinary enthusiasts to showcase their talent. The winning dish, Korean Cucumber Salad, was praised for its unique flavour profile and presentation, marking a proud moment for the cadets and their alma mater. Captain (IN) Shibu Devasia, Principal, Sainik School Nagrota congratulated the winners on their outstanding achievement and appreciated their creative potential. The competition not only highlighted the cadets' culinary skills but also fostered teamwork, creativity, and discipline, values that are central to the ethos of Sainik School Nagrota. This achievement further adds to the school's rich tradition of excellence in co-curricular activities, showcasing the diverse talents of its cadets.
