Old Boys of 1979 Batch Strengthen Reading Culture at Sainik School Nagrota.

The alumni of the 1979 Batch of Sainik School Nagrota have once again demonstrated their deep bond with their alma mater by donating 200 books to the School Library, reinforcing the importance of reading, learning, and intellectual growth among cadets.
The donated collection includes motivational and leadership literature, encyclopaedias, biographies, history titles, and children’s books, aimed at enhancing communication skills, general awareness, and public speaking abilities of cadets.
The books were formally handed over to the Principal by Col Sanjeev Gupta (Retd) in the presence of Brig GS Shan, President NEXAS, the Vice Principal, staff members, and cadets.
The initiative was led by Col Sanjeev Gupta (Retd), with valuable contributions from Mr Vikas Sadhu, Mr Sanjeev Koul, and Mr Arvind Sharma, all proud alumni of the 1979 batch.
Appreciating the thoughtful gesture, the Principal lauded the alumni for their continued association and meaningful contribution towards strengthening library culture and holistic education at the school.
The event reaffirmed the enduring bond between the school and its alumni and their shared commitment to nurturing well-read, disciplined, and future-ready leaders for the nation.
