Sainik School Nagrota Hosts Thought-Provoking Inter-House Debate Competition.

The spirit of oratory and critical thinking soared high as Sainik School Nagrota held an intellectually charged Inter-House Debate Competition, featuring cadets from both junior and senior categories.
Topics of Debate:
Senior: “Is diplomatic isolation or constructive engagement the right path for India in dealing with Pakistan post-Pahalgam?”
Junior: “Artificial Intelligence will eventually surpass human creativity – Should we be concerned?”
Each house was represented by two cadets, speaking for and against the motion. The debates reflected in-depth research, logic, and powerful articulation.
Winners: Senior Best Speaker: Cdt Stanzin Chosgyal (Chenab House)
Junior Best Speaker: Cdt Sai Sannidhi Mishra (Jhelum House)
Overall Trophies: Chenab House (Senior) & Jhelum House (Junior)
The event was graced by Air Vice Marshal Pawan, an illustrious alumnus of the school, and Mr. S. Rajagopalan, former Senior Master and jury member, who appreciated the cadets’ confidence and clarity.
The competition truly reflected the school’s vision of nurturing informed, expressive, and thoughtful future leaders.
